Cranford Trees To Be Analyzed
Trees in town will be looked out to see if they need to be replaced for safety reasons and sites for new tree plantings will be identified

CRANFORD, NJ — An inventory of the Cranford municipal street trees in town will be completed to identify sites for future tree plantings and document the health of the surveyed trees.
"This data will be utilized by the Department of Public Works to locate hazardous trees that may need to be removed," Township Administrator Terence Wall said.
The Land Conservancy, which was hired by the township, will begin to inventory trees on Wednesday, Aug. 3 using an iTree software on a handheld smart phone.
