'Dylan The Dood' Needs A Home: Cranford Police
Cranford cops want to know if you have room in your home for their "dog of the month."

CRANFORD, NJ - The Cranford Police Department are looking for someone to take home "Dylan the Dood.
"Dylan is a three-year-old American Bulldog/Lab mix who is lovingly referred to as 'Dylan the Dood' by his foster mom because of his fraternity boy interest in being everyone’s best friend. He gets excited at anything new. A new trail, a new toy, a new human or a new adventure will amplify his energy level. He’s a happy go lucky, playful dog who would make the perfect companion for someone who enjoys hikes and long walks. Dylan loves other dogs, however has a lot of energy and is a very active playmate, therefore he would be best suited with another dog with similar energy and play style. He’s a gentleman in the house and does his business outdoors. Dylan is crate trained and enjoys hiding his favorite treats and toys under blankets to play with later," police said.
According to the Cranford Police, affection is his favorite reward.

"Pats on the head with ear rubs will get you everything with this handsome guy. He’s a big boy who didn’t get the memo about not being a lap dog so be prepared to share your couch and get big cuddles and kisses. Although Dylan loves his foster home, he has spent a very long time in a shelter environment and we are eagerly working to find him the perfect forever home," they said.
