Flashy New Crossing Sign In Cranford (Video)

There is even less of an excuse to ignore pedestrians in the crosswalk.

CRANFORD, NJ - There is even less of an excuse to ignore pedestrians in the crosswalk in Cranford as new signage has been installed that literally flashes lights at motorists.

The new Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) installed at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Denman Road is designed to grab the attention of drivers. These signs flash after the pedestrian pushes a button indicating to motorists that a pedestrian is crossing.
