CRANFORD, NJ — On the anniversary of Hurricane Sandy this Thursday, Tropical Storm Zeta swirled into the Garden State. The storm did not cause the extent of flooding and power outages in Union County like Tropical Storm Isaias did this summer, but was expected to bring more rain throughout Friday morning.

In fact, Accuweather said that the storm would continue to bring rain to Cranford until around 12 p.m. Friday.

Flash flooding is very dangerous and at no time should you attempt to drive through a flooded roadway or intersection. Stay away from any downed wires, and treat wires as live even if power appears to be out in the area.
