Project Home Cranford Is Holding A Photography Contest
What's your "hidden gem" in town? Photos must be submitted by April 9. The form is linked here.

CRANFORD, NJ — Got a great photo of Cranford, or want to take one?
Project Home of Cranford — a nonprofit charity whose funds help local families avoid homelessness due to a crisis situation — is holding its first ever photo contest.
They say they're looking for amateur photographers to submit photos of their favorite Cranford "hidden gems."

What specifically are the judges looking for? "Maybe it is off the beaten path or just a little corner of town that you find inspiring," they say. "The photo does not need to be a new one taken for this contest —it can be a favorite from the past."
But — and this is an important rule — "just no people, faces, or business names."

The winning photos will be framed and displayed in the Artist Framer’s window in downtown Cranford, and the photographers will receive a framed copy of their photo.
They say, "The best photos will then be posted on our social media and the top 5 with the most 'likes' will be made into notecards which Project Home of Cranford will then sell to raise funds for Cranford Family Care."
Project Home’s fundraising dollars assist Cranford families who are in danger of losing their Cranford residences due to situations such as job loss or catastrophic illness. Cranford Family Care utilizes Project Home’s fundraising dollars by carefully screening and qualifying Cranford residents in need of assistance.
"Get out and find that spot," they urge, "so you can share it with everyone. Who knows, your photo may end up on a notecard!"
The submission form is here. It must be sent with the photos to PHDiscoverCranford@gmail.com.
