CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford Police said that Elizabeth Avenue will be closed between North Union Avenue and Cranford Avenue on Friday for utility work. Police were expecting traffic in the artery to be delayed.

They said traffic will be detoured onto Claremont Place and Cranford Avenue during the closure. Police will be on scene to assist with the closure.

"Please plan accordingly," they said.
