64 Crashes In South Brunswick, 12 In East Brunswick
The Nov. 15 snowstorm shut down parts of Rt. 130, Rt. 1 and Rt. 27. There were 64 car crashes in South Brunswick and 24 cars had to be towed

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The roads were a mess Thursday afternoon, with 12 accidents in East Brunswick in the two-hour period between 3 and 5 p.m.
But that was nothing compared to South Brunswick, which had 64 motor vehicle crashes since the snow started falling at about 12:30 p.m. Several people have been injured in the crashes but none are life threatening. 24 cars had to be towed.
In South Brunswick, Rt. 130 at Deans Rhode Hall Rd was closed for a pole brought down across the road. Also:

- Rt. 1 north/Major Road - Major problems with vehicle becoming stuck
- Rt. 27 north at Princeton border – Vehicles stuck on hill
- Stouts Lane near Target – Crash, vehicles stuck All roads remain hazardous to travel.
Police received reports of numerous accidents in North Brunswick Thursday afternoon, as well.
