Protest Planned For South River Friday
A protest to end racial injustice is planned to take place this Friday, June 5 at 3:00 p.m. in front of South River police headquarters.

SOUTH RIVER, NJ — A protest to end racial injustice is planned to take place this Friday, June 5 at 3:00 p.m. in front of South River police headquarters.
It will also include a planned march.
The march will be accompanied by a police escort at all times. Many streets near police headquarters and in the downtown area will be closed Friday afternoon, so be aware.

Peaceful protests have attracted thousands of people across New Jersey this week, from South Brunswick, Jersey City, Highland Park, Keansburg and Toms River where Toms River police marched with protesters. In Jersey City, protesters shouted at police to take a knee in Floyd's honor; only a few complied; see the photos from that march.
