Celebrate Earth Month At East Brunswick Public Library

The library has planned several environmentally friendly programs throughout the month of April

Did you know that April is Earth Month? To celebrate our planet and to learn how to better take care of the environment, East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) has several activities planned.

The library is partnering with the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission to host the program “Introduction to NJ Birds” on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 pm. This is a lively, interactive program about New Jersey’s beautiful birds presented through colorful slides and audio recordings. The program is recommended for ages 8 and older.

Outside The Box Market founder and blogger Jesse Damiano shares tips and hints that can make a big impact on the environment at the program “Sustainable Alternatives For Every Day Living” on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 am. Whether you are on a limited budget or have no time, Daimano shares several things you can do to be more environmentally conscious.
