East Brunswick Cancels All Summer Camps
East Brunswick Twp. said it had come to this decision after "several months" of research.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick Twp. announced late in the day Friday, May 16 that they are cancelling all Township-operated summer day camps for 2020.
"At the forefront of all decisions, the health, safety and well-being of our residents, children and staff is paramount," said East Brunswick Twp. in a statement, say they had come to this decision after "several months" of research.
During that time, East Brunswick talked to the American Camp Association, the New Jersey Department of Health, the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association and many other camp professionals across the region.

If you’ve already registered for East Brunswick's day camp program, their staff will begin the process of refunding your registration.
"We thank you for your understanding during the pandemic and we look forward to servicing our community again in 2021," said East Brunswick Twp.
