EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — This was the scene on Rt. 18 Friday morning when a car crashed into a vape shop off the road.
The store is Good Guy Vapes and it's located off Rt. 18 near Arthur Street. The crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. and it brought down Rt. 18 northbound to just one lane for about two hours, said police.
The accident happened after a car made a right turn into the parking lot of the vape store, police said. As it turned, there were pedestrians walking and the driver yielded to them, which caused the vehicle immediately behind it to stop. The vehicle that stopped in the right lane behind the vehicle that was turning was struck by a dump truck.
