East Brunswick Gets $400K For Municipal Building Upgrade
Funds will go towards renovating the municipal building, public works building and the facilities department.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — New Jersey Department of Community Affairs recently granted East Brunswick $400,000 from the Municipal Facility Renovation program.
Funds will go towards renovations of the municipal building, public works building and facilities department.
The township said the funding will assist with security upgrades, a new entrance, an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant elevator, interior renovations to serve the public, and a computer network.

Two other Middlesex County towns in the 18th Legislative District received funding to complete approved improvement projects.
Edison got 300,000 from the Landfill Closure Project Design program and Metuchen received $100,000 from the Shade Tree Management program.

“Thank you Governor Murphy and the Department of Community Affairs, for giving needed support to these approved projects,” Sen. Patrick Diegnan NJ-18 said in a statement.
