East Brunswick Girl Scouts Donate Water, Cookies To RWJUH Staff

Local Girl Scouts donated 1,000 bottles of water and Gatorade, plus boxes of Girl Scout cookies to RWJUH staff and East Brunswick police.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Check out these adorable photos of East Brunswick Girl Scout Troop #81624, who used proceeds from their cookie sales to buy and donate bottles of water to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

The donation was such a hit that the girls partnered with a sister troop (#81920) to give more water and Gatorade to the East Brunswick police department and local food bank. From there, the donation inspired four other local Girl Scout troops to join in a second round of donations.

The second round yielded more than 1,000 bottles of water and Gatorade, cards and boxes of Girl Scout cookies, again donated to RWJ staff.
