East Brunswick To Host Virtual Gingerbread House Contest
Each participating family needs to create their gingerbread house and send a picture to the recreation department.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Department of Recreation, the Arts Commission and the Education Association are hosting a Gingerbread House Decorating Contest.
The Education Association is donating a 100 gingerbread house kits to the first 100 participants, first come, first served. Each household will receive one kit.
The kits will be available for pickup beginning Nov. 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, while supplies last.

Participants can also use their own kits.
Once each family completes their gingerbread house, they need to take a picture of it and email to recreation@eastbrunswick.org with ‘Gingerbread House’ as the subject. The last day to submit pictures is Dec.13.

All submissions will be posted on the township’s website and social media accounts for the public to vote, beginning Dec. 14 to 22.
The gingerbread house with the most votes will be declared the winner and receive a gift basket from the Arts Commission.
To pick up a kit, visit the recreation office at 334 Dunhams Corner Road.
