East Brunswick Library To Offer Special Programs For Small Biz

The programs will help small, local businesses to learn more about marketing, advertising, customer engagement, and more.

EAST BRUNSWICK— The East Brunswick Public Library will offer special online programs to help small businesses in the area, beginning May.

The Library is teaming up with SCORE Princeton to offer “Five Key Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Business” on May 12 at 6:30 p.m. This program will be led by Jeff Bonaldi and will focus on topics like e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising, and customer engagement.

Bonaldi is the founder and CEO of The Explorer’s Passage, an adventure travel agency.

The second program, “Take A Business Break: Get Your Affairs In Order” will be held on May 20 at 12 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Edward Mendlowitz, CPA, who shows businesses how to declutter and arrange financial affairs to avoid confusion.

Topics include setting the uses and purposes of essential trusts, the responsibilities of trustees and executors, and what records you need to keep.

Mendlowitz is an emeritus partner at WithumSmith+Brown, PC and is one of Accounting Today’s 100 Most Influential People.

He is also the author of twenty-nine books and speaks regularly to accountants and general audiences.

Mendlowitz teaches financial analysis and managerial accounting in the MBA program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
