East Brunswick Offering Virtual Art Camp For Children

From March 30 to April 1, children aged 6 to 12 can participate in a virtual art camp.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — With the weather outside being mostly pleasant this week, East Brunswick is preparing to announce their spring programming.

The Recreation Department will host a free Virtual Pencil Art Camp for children aged 6 to 12.

The classes will be held from March 30 to April 1, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Zoom for up to 50 pre-registered participants.

Students must register via the online registration portal - registration.eastbrunswick.org.

Each participant must have their own supplies - colored pencils, white card stock or printer paper, lead pencil, sharpener, eraser, and ruler.

Participants will learn how to create eye-catching designs, glide in their color pencils to shade, blend, layer colors and bring their art to life.

The classes will be conducted by instructor Komal Mehra, a self-taught artist and enthusiastic crafter.
