East Brunswick Parking Garages Launch Contact-Less Way To Pay

Effective immediately, East Brunswick is launching a contact-less payment system at more than 1,000 spaces in the town's commuter lots.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Effective immediately, East Brunswick is launching a contact-less payment system at more than 1,000 spaces in the town's multiple commuter lots.

This app is now in place at East Brunswick's Transportation and Commerce Center on Old Bridge Turnpike and at Neilson Plaza on Tower Center Boulevard near the Turnpike.

East Brunswick entered into a contract with ParkMobile, which provides "smart parking" solutions across the nation.

To pay for parking in East Brunswick, you now have to download the ParkMobile app and enter the zone number posted on the stickers and signs in the lot. You then select the amount of time needed and touch the “Start Parking” button to begin the session.

Commuter lots in East Brunswick require a flat rate for daily parking.

You might have already used the ParkMobile app in Newark, Hoboken, New Brunswick, Jersey City, Asbury Park, Ocean City, Wildwood, Passaic and other New Jersey towns. Amid the COVID crisis, many towns in the U.S. are encouraging residents to use the app instead of the physical pay station to prevent the spread of the virus.
