East Brunswick Public Library’s Short Story Contest Returns
The "73 Words in the 732" short story contest seeking original short stories that contain seventy-three words or less.

While everyone is working from home or distance learning, the East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) is still holding programming. The library is holding the annual short story contest.
The “73 Words in the 732” short story contest seeking original short stories that contain seventy-three words or less. Whether the inspiration is about current events or fantastical creatures, there is no set theme or topic. A panel of library staff will select the best short stories, which will appear on the library’s website.
“The town’s response to this annual event has been amazing,” said Paul Kibala, Adult Services Librarian. “It’s the perfect way to celebrate the power of its stories.”
