East Brunswick School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, More

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ— The first day of school in East Brunswick is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The East Brunswick School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/5: First Day of School for Students
• 9/10-9/11: No School (Fall Recess)
• 9/19: No School (Fall Recess)

October

• 10/10: Single Session (EBHS Only)/PSAT
• 10/23 - 10/26: Parent Teacher Conferences/Single Session (Lunch Served Grades K-7)

November

• 11/6: Single Session (No Lunch Served)
• 11/7: No School (Staff Development)
• 11/8-11/9: No School
• 11/21: Single Session (Lunch Served Grades K-7)
• 11/22-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/21: Single Session (Lunch Served Grades K-7)
• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year’s Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/24-1/29: Mid-Terms/Single Session for EBHS and CJHS Only

February

• 2/5: No School (Staff Development)
• 2/18: No School (Presidents’ Day)

March

• 3/19-3/22: Parent Teacher Conferences/Single Session (Lunch Served Grades K-7)

April

• 4/15-4/19: No School (Spring Recess)

• 6/4: Primary Election Day/Single Session (No Lunch Served)
• 6/13-6/14 and 6/17-6/18: EBHS Final Exams/Single Session for EBHS Students

• 6/19-6/20: Single Session all Students (No Lunch Served)
• 6/20: EBHS Graduation/Last Day of School for Students
• 6/21: Last Day for Teachers
