East Brunswick Schools To Offer Summer Meals From Thursday

Meals will be offered to any child 18 years or younger at no cost, the school district said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick school district will be offering summertime grab-and-go meals to children beginning Thursday.

Meals will be offered to any child 18 years or younger at no cost. Pickup will be held every Thursday from June 17 through Aug. 26.

Each child will be given seven breakfast and seven lunch meals for the week. All meals will meet the nutritional guidelines required by the United States Department of Agriculture, the school district said.

Meals will be distributed at the following locations and times:

  • Hammarskjold Middle School (Door #31): 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Churchill Junior High School (Door #3): 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • East Brunswick High School (Door #10): 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

On June 17, the Churchill meal pickup will be from 12:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
