East Brunswick's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
East Brunswick's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including East Brunswick. Although East Brunswick's fireworks and annual July 4th celebration have been canceled, here's where fireworks are still happening in New Jersey:
These New Jersey towns will still have July 4th fireworks!
- Ocean City's Fourth of July parade and fireworks on Saturday, July 4 are still happening. Kite flying competition at 7 p.m. followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier. A spectacular boardwalk fireworks display tops off the evening at 9 p.m. For more information call 609-399-6111. - North Wildwood's fireworks and Fourth of July parade is still happening.
- North Jersey: State Fair Meadowlands, which normally has fireworks on July 4, is now running instead from July 23 through Aug. 9. When they update their schedule it will be here.
- Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks are taking place on July 4 as usual, and will be shown on NBC. Macy's hasn't announced whether they will remain in the East River like the last few years, rather than the Hudson River.
