Enter the First EB Battle of the Bands

New Jersey has made a huge impact on rock music, with a variety of bands including Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, the Misfits, Skid Row and My Chemical Romance calling the Garden State home.

The East Brunswick Arts Commission and the East Brunswick Public Library are giving local musicians a chance to show off at an upcoming EB Battle of the Bands this fall. Winning bands will receive prizes.

Bands can apply to play at the Battle of the bands online at www.tinyurl.com/EBBattle2018. There are three age categories for bands, 13-17 years old, 18-22 years old, and 23 years and older. At least one band member must be an East Brunswick. All applications must be submitted by September 21.

The Battle of the Bands concert will be held at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center (721 Cranbury Road) on October 14 at 2 pm.
