High-End Cars Being Stolen In East Brunswick This July
Maseratis, Alfa Romeos, Audis and BMWs have all been stolen in East Brunswick in the past two weeks.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick police said Thursday that during the last two weeks, they have taken a number of motor vehicle theft reports.
It appears that all the cars stolen are high-end, said police, including a Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Audi and BMW. In all the thefts, the keys or key fobs were left in the vehicles and the vehicles were unlocked.

1. Lock Your Doors

3. Do Not Leave a Spare Key near Your Vehicle
4. Close the Windows
5. Park in Well-Lit Areas
6. Install an Audible Alarm System and Anti-Theft Device
7. Install a Vehicle Immobilizer System
8. Install a Tracking System
9. Don’t Leave Valuables in Your Car
10. Be Alert
What To Do If Your Car Is Stolen
If your car is stolen, contact the police immediately. You may need to provide the following information:
1. The year, make, model and color of the car
2. License plate number
3. Vehicle Identification Number (also called the “VIN”)
4. Don't forget to notify your insurance company within 24 hours
