Library Program Helps Find “Better Exercise, Best You”

This talk will explore the various reasons and motivations to exercise and connect these to the various types of exercise.

Sometimes the most challenging part of exercising is figuring out what type of exercise to do. East Brunswick Public Library and Saint Peter’s Health System tackle this question in the upcoming online program “Better Exercise, Best You,” presented by Dr. Bonnie Saunders PT, MPA, DPT, on Friday, March 5 at 12 pm.

This talk will explore the various reasons and motivations to exercise and connect these to the various types of exercise. It will also discuss some of the more common barriers to establishing a successful exercise routine and some strategies to overcome these barriers.

Saunders has been a physical therapist for over 30 years. She has worked in various clinic settings and states across the country and is currently the director of Physical Rehabilitation services in the Saint Peter’s Health System. Exercise has been a pillar of her professional life as well as a component of her personal life. Over the years her approach to exercise has changed and she will offer some of these insights to participants.
