Milltown's Ariella Hopkins Day May 18 In Young Girl's Memory

MILLTOWN, NJ — The fourth annual Ariella Hopkins Day will be held this Saturday, May 18 in Milltown. This is an annual festival held in memory of a local 6-year-old girl who tragically passed away after a battle with an illness.

The popular local street fair raises money for the Ariella Hopkins Scholarship to St. Bartholomew's School in East Brunswick, American Legion Post 25 and to veterans and children fighting childhood illnesses.

Ariella was a student at St. Bartholomew's and she passed away at the age of 6 in 2015, after a sudden illness. She died shortly after finishing kindergarten, according to MyCentralJersey. Her parents, Bobby and Lisa Hopkins, keep her memory alive through this annual popular street festival and through fundraising.

Ariella Hopkins Day will go from noon to 7 p.m. this Saturday, May 18 at the American Legion Joyce Kilmer Post 25, at 4 John F. Kennedy Drive in Millltown, NJ 08850.
