The Raritan Valley YMCA (www.raritanvalleyymca.org) has teamed up with the Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services at 732-745-3295 to increase public awareness of services and opportunities for county seniors, the disabled, and their care givers.
Do you need help with food or your paying energy bills? There are resources!
Since the pandemic began in the United States in March of 2020, 1 in 3 adults nationwide report having difficulty covering household expenses, including food and utility bills.
The Resource Access Team, (a branch of the Community Foodbank of New Jersey) works to connect individuals and families with information, support and access to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) & Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT). Team members also
provide assistance with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). For an informative zoom presentation on these programs register at: gcraig@co.somerset.nj.us The Zoom link will be sent to you upon registration.
