East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) joins schools, colleges, libraries and other groups across the state in celebrating the sixth annual New Jersey Makers Day this March.

The library has expanded this event with its annual Week of Making, a series of workshops to show the community the importance of exploring new opportunities for education, entrepreneurship and hands-on learning.

Through a series of special programs, the goal of New Jersey Makers Day and the Week of Making is for library customers to explore the world of makerspaces and maker culture, as well as the importance of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) related activities for all ages.
