Newark Man Faces Drug Possession Charges: East Brunswick Police
Terry Andrews, 45, was charged after police said they found drugs in his vehicle.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A Newark man is facing drug possession charges, following a traffic stop on Highway 18 South, Main Street, East Brunswick police said.
According to the police, Terry Andrews, 45, was stopped by patrolman Gabriel Gausachs on Nov. 20, at 11:55 p.m., for numerous traffic violations.
While speaking to Andrews, Gausachs said he detected the odor of marijuana and asked Andrews exit his vehicle.

After conducting a search, Andrews was found to have cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone pills, a digital scale, and zip lock bags for the packaging and distribution of narcotics, said police. Andrews was also in possession of a large sum of US currency, which was seized, police said.
Andrews was charged with first degree distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Facility in North Brunswick, NJ.
