Diegnan, Karabinchak, Stanley Win NJ-18 District: AP
All incumbents have won the Democratic nomination for NJ-18, according to the AP.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Incumbents Robert Karabinchak and Sterley Stanley have won the Democratic nomination for New Jersey Legislative District 18 Assembly, according to the Associated Press.
Sen. Patrick Diegnan Jr . of MCDO faced a challenge from Mohin K. Patel, of Democrats of Middlesex County. Diegnan won with 11,003 votes against Patel's 3,586, the AP reported.

All of the winning candidates will now run in the general election on Nov. 2. Diegnan will face Republican candidate Vihal Patel. Karabinchak and Stanley will be up against Angela Fam and Melanie McCann Mott.
NJ-18 includes East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen, South Plainfield, and South River.
