Old Stage Road Now Reopen in East Brunswick
It was shut down by a water main break at 6 a.m. Friday. It reopened at 3 p.m.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Update: Old Stage Road reopened in both directions at 3 p.m. Friday.
Old Stage Road between Fern Road and New Brunswick Avenue was shut down at about 6 a.m. Friday due to a water main break. And don't expect it to open up anytime soon: The road will remain closed through Friday morning and into the afternoon, said Lt. Sean Goggins. He said East Brunswick police hope to have it reopen by the evening rush hour.
Traffic was diverted onto Cranbury Road, but there was heavy congestion and delays in the area this morning. Drivers are advised to avoid the area. The water main break was discovered by police at 6 a.m. Water was flowing onto both sides of the roadway and starting to erode the road, he said.
