Police have arrested an East Brunswick man who they say robbed three people as they rode bikes behind a Racetrack Road shopping center.

Police have arrested an East Brunswick man who they say robbed three people in town.
On Thursday night, one adult and two juveniles were robbed while riding their bikes behind the Pathmark Shopping Center on Racetrack Road, police said.
On Friday, police arrested Arizae Halley, 20, of East Brunswick, and charged him with three counts of robbery.

Police have said the trio was approached by a man on a bike who stole their cell phones.
Halley had been stopped in the area on Thursday night, but police did not have sufficient information to detain him, according to a news release from Lt. Kevin F. Zebro.

Detectives John Breen, Dan Unkel and Michael Egan followed up on leads and developed new information that led to Friday night’s arrest, police said.
Halley was sent to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center, North Brunswick, where he was held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
