Ryders Lane Closed As Wind Knocks Poles Down

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Ryders Lane northbound is currently closed as of 11:30 a.m. Monday morning, Feb. 25, as the high winds brought wires and poles down.

Ryders Lane northbound is closed at Tices Lane for wires and telephone poles down, East Brunswick police said. Avoid the area.

An estimated 77 people are currently without power in East Brunswick Twp. this morning. Central Jersey got off comparatively easy in Sunday night's overnight gusty wind storm, as power has been knocked out for thousands of people in northwest New Jersey and some schools have even had to close.
