Valeski said the school district was preparing for the reopening, but at the same time is monitoring the storm.

“I will wait until I have the latest and most accurate information on snowfall and the time needed for its removal, as well as ensuring all our sites can be made safe for students and staff,” he said.
The winter storm comes in the heels of a nor'easter that left 35 inches of snow in some parts of New Jersey.
