St. Peter’s Episcopal Church In Spotswood Holds Homeless Mass
St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Spotswood will hold a memorial mass this Saturday, Dec. 21 to remember the homeless in Middlesex County.
SPOTSWOOD, NJ — St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Spotswood invites the entire Middlesex County community to a memorial mass this Saturday, Dec. 21 to remember people who have died in Middlesex County from causes related to being homeless.
The annual service, coordinated by Coming Home, will take place Saturday, December 21, the first day of winter and the longest night of the year. It starts at 5 p.m. at the historical Church Grounds, located at the intersection of Main Street and Devoe Avenue in Spotswood.
Donations of new men’s and women’s undergarments and warm socks of all sizes welcome. All are encouraged to join in the sharing of poetry, artwork and music by those who have experienced homelessness along with those who are working to end homelessness. A light supper will be served.
