Take A Business Break With The East Brunswick Public Library

East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center)’s popular Take A Business Break Series of online programs on Thursdays afternoon. The goal is to provide small business owners with tips from experts during their lunch break.
Take A Business Break is presented by Edward Mendlowitz, CPA. He is Emeritus Partner, WithumSmith+Brown, PC and Fairleigh Dickinson MBA professor. In addition, Mendlowitz was designated one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today.

The first program, “How Much Your Business Could be Worth and How to Increase its Value,” is on Thursday, September 17 at 12:00 pm. This presentation tackles the difficult process of determining the proper value of a business. The program shares eight different ways your business could be valued and which method would be right for you. Mendlowitz will also indicate ways to substantially increase that value. After this program, attendees will have a better regard for the value drivers in their business and their value creation opportunities.
Other programs in this series include “Five Numbers You Should get Every Day to Better Control Your Business” on Thursday, October 15 at 12:00 pm and “When to Hire Your First Employee and How Much to Pay” on Thursday, November 19 at 12:00 pm.
