Upcoming Library Program Discusses Stroke Signs and Risks

Attendees of this program will learn about the signs, symptoms and risk factors for strokes, and what to do if someone is having one.

Hackensack Meridian Health and East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) are teaming up to present the online program “Stroke: What You Need To Know” on Wednesday, May 12 at noon.

According to the American Heart Association study, strokes accounted for nearly one in every 19 deaths in 2018. Attendees of this program will learn about the signs, symptoms and risk factors for strokes, and what to do if someone is having one.

This program will be conducted by Mirian Medina, MSN, RN, CNRN, SCRN, Stroke Center Coordinator at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
