“I will make the determination late Thursday, for Friday’s instructional day, when I have more accurate information since every day back in our schools is important to us.”
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for 17 New Jersey counties, including Middlesex, saying that snow and sleet accumulations could bring anywhere from 3 to 8 inches across the state.
The storm could be a combined snow and ice storm, and could knock down wires causing power outages, according to the National Weather Service.
