Florham Park Crime Rose Slightly in April

Larceny, theft rose over same month last year.

Florham Park experienced an uptick in crime in April as compared to the same month in 2012, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Florham Park is a pretty safe town in general, so even a small uptick in crime can be significant. Percentages may look scary, but the numbers are far less intimidating.

According to the state police, Florham Park had six incidents of larceny theft in April 2013, compared to four in April 2012. Those two additional incidents translate to an increase of 50 percent.
