Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint In East Hanover: Police
East Hanover police say Randolph police are investigating a similar overnight incident.
EAST HANOVER, NJ — An Exxon gas station was robbed at gunpoint in the early morning hours on Thursday, East Hanover Police Chief Christopher Cannizzo said.
The robbery happened at the Exxon on the corner of River Road adn Rt. 10 around 12:15 a.m., Cannizzo said. An attendant told police a masked, hooded man pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The attendant handed over cash, and the masked man fled on foot, police said. Cannizzo said the attendant was not injured.
Police described the man as being around 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing black pants, a gray hoodie, and a black mask.

A similar incident is being investigated in Randolph, Cannizzo said. Randolph police have not responded to Patch's request for comment; the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said they anticipate releasing more information later on Thursday.
