Hanover Park Volleyball Player Selected for Skill-Building Program

Sophomore Chino Anukwuem spent five days training with nation's elite volleyball players.

Hanover Park High School Sophomore Chino Anukwuem spent her summer in a special and unique way when she was selected to learn skills from some of the country's top volleyball players in the A-2 program in Colorado Springs, according to The Daily Record.

Anukwuem, a varsity volleyball player, was one of 55 players, and the only girl, selected from the Garden Empire Volleyball Association to participate in the program, The Daily Record reported.

After her experience through the program, Anukweuem will be hitting the courts this season with even more experience to help her team.
