Budget Vote, Helipad Hearing This Week

2013 Budget: The Florham Park Council will hold a public hearing and final vote on the 2013 budget Tuesday night. The proposed $19.4 million budget includes a tax levy increase of about 0.75 percent, or $1.351 per $100 of assessed property value. The agenda for the meeting is in the Photos & Documents section of this article.

Helipad Hearing: An application to construct a helipad at 1 Jets Drive in Florham Park was adjourned earlier this month until the Florham Park Planning Board's Thursday meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Florham Park Municipal Building, 111 Ridgedale Ave. Hundreds of neighbors in Madison are petitioning to stop the project.
