Locals Make Union College Dean's List

SCHENECTADY, NY -- The following local residents were awarded Dean's List honors from Union College for the 2012-13 academic year:

• Max Davidson '13, a resident of Florham Park, NJ. Davidson is a 2009 graduate of Newark Academy.
• Gloria Pereira '16, a resident of East Hanover, NJ. Pereira is a 2012 graduate of Academy Of Saint Elizabeth.

To make Dean's List, students must receive a 3.5 grade point average for the entire academic year. They also must meet several other requirements to be awarded the honor.

Union College, founded in 1795 as the first college chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates.
