"Prior to our return to school, we will reevaluate and determine if we need to extend the closure.," officials said in a statement. "As we are utilizing a snow day on March 13 students and staff do not need to record their attendance or complete any assignments."

Officials said all "bolt bags" that have not been picked up will be placed in the offices of the East Hanover Police Department where parents can retrieve them and noted that they will be in frequent contact during the duration of the closure.
