Morris County Teen Killed In Pontoon Boat Crash: Police
Corey Molinari, 19, of Whippany, died after the pontoon hit a waterway marker near the Route 37 bridge, New Jersey State Police said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County teen was killed in a boat crash that injured five others, early Sunday, when a pontoon boat struck a waterway marker in Barnegat Bay near the Route 37 bridge, New Jersey State Police said Monday.
Corey Molinari, 19, of Whippany, was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, where he died from injuries he suffered in the crash, Sgt. Alejandro Goez said.
The crash, which was reported at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, threw two of the other five people on board into the water, Goez said.

One of the five suffered what Goez said were moderate injuries, and the other four suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation, Goez said.
