Party City Thieves Scared Off By Employees, Cops Say
Four individuals stole cups, stationary and other items totaling more than $100, cops say.

A group of four individuals stole more than $100 worth of items from Party City last week, and fled once they realized they were being watched by store employees, said.
According to the police, the store manager said the four individuals were described as a middle-aged, skinny black male who wore a white shirt and shorts, a black female who wore a stained white T-shirt and jeans and two black males who were dressed as females.
The manager told officers that store employees saw the black males dressed as females putting monogrammed cups and other nearby items into a brown leather bag, while the other two individuals served as lookouts last Monday, Sept. 3 at about 2:45 p.m., police said.

Once the group saw they were being watched, they quickly left the store, police said. According to police, the store manager followed the four individuals outside and saw them get into an older maroon Buick with a large dent in the front, with the front hood held closed with a bungee cord.
The store manager told the officers she wasn't sure exactly what items were taken, but believes there were several monogrammed cups, stationarys and other items from nearby shelves that add up to about $100, police said.
