Polls Still Accessible Despite Road Closure In East Hanover

Original Story: A power outage has caused a road closure in East Hanover, and one polling location is affected, police said.
Mount Pleasant Ave is closed between New Murray Road and Hanover Road due to an outage in the area. Polls at the senior citizen center on Mount Pleasant Ave are still accessible to voters.

The building can be accessed from the eastbound lanes of Mount Pleasant Ave from River Road or Hanover Road. Police officers will be on scene to ensure everyone can get where they need to go.
As of 1:48 p.m., 334 JCP&L customers are without power in town. The outage should be resolved by 4 p.m.
