Power Lines Between Montville And East Hanover OKed By Judge
An administrative law judge has given the high-voltage power line project the green light.

EAST HANOVER, NJ — JCP&L is allowed to move forward with constructing high-voltage power lines between their Montville and East Hanover substations, a judge ruled on Monday. The Daily record first reported the news.
New Jersey Office of Administrative Law judge ruled that JCP&L could build the project, which had been controversial with local officials and the public.
The proposal was first discussed back in 2013 and was met with criticism, primarily over the lines proposed location near Lazar Middle School. The location proposal was modified, and the Montville Board of Education is set to review the new proposal.
