'Real Housewives' Mansion Tenant Ends Court Battle, Says He'll Move Out

Relationship 'too unhealthy' to continue, report says.

The court battle that has taken on its own script is coming to an end, after the tenant living in a Montville mansion owned by “Real Housewives” cast members Joe and Melissa Gorga said he’ll move out on his own volition.

According to nj.com, Kai Patterson, who signed a lease-to-own agreement with the Gorgas in 2013, said he’ll move out by Sept. 27, ending the court battle revolving around unpaid rent and possible eviction that began in June.

Just last week a judge ordered Patterson to pay $23,000 in rent and other fees to stay in the home through September. Prior to that, the tenant and Bravo network’s cast members were at odds over unpaid rent from earlier in the year that Patterson didn’t pay, claiming repairs needed to be made to the home before any funds were transferred from one party to another.

After three months of no payment, Gorga took Patterson to court with the hopes of evicting the tenant or receiving his payment.

Patterson said the relationship between he and the Gorgas was too unhealthy to continue, the report said.
