Snowstorm Means Early Closing County's Whippany Library Branch
The Morris County Library will shut its doors at 5 p.m. Tuesday due to inclement weather.

The winter snowstorm is expected to worsen as afternoon rush nears. In the interest of safety, the Morris County Library, at 30 E. Hanover Ave. in Whippany, will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to county officials.
The library is scheduled to reopen Wednesday at 9 a.m. The National Weather Service, however, predicted that more snow—perhaps another four to six inches of the white stuff—may fall overnight. That means anything could happen in the morning.
