TD Bank Coming to Florham Park
Bank will open at intersection of Ridgedale Avenue and Columbia Turnpike next March.

TD Bank is officially coming to Florham Park in March, after the Borough Council authorized the developer's agreement at last week's meeting.
The bank will open in the lot at the intersection of Ridgedale Avenue and Columbia Turnpike.
The bank will be the first to fill the vacant lot in the past six years, after previously housing the old firehouse, a lawn mower repair shop, a sandwich shop and a hair salon on its property.

The property owner took out all of those buildings and the firehouse was moved around the corner on Brooklake Road.
Councilman Mark Taylor said the council is "very happy to get this finally finished and finalized" after there have been a series of applications and litigation for the property within the six years.

Originally, the property owner wanted to construct several new buidlings on that lot, Taylor said, but there wasn't enough parking space.
The application for TD Bank is just for one building with no parking variances required, unlike the other potential buildings.
"The mayor and the borough council are truly glad the TD Bank site will be developed finally," Taylor said. "This is something that has gone on for a long time and it's the work of many people—including the planning board, both of the attorneys for both different establishments, and we welcome the TD Bank with open arms to Florham Park."
The bank is expected to open March 24, according to a TD Bank representative.
Other nearby TD Banks are located in East Hanover on River Road and in Cedar Knolls on Ridgedale Avenue.
